North Central Upfitting is looking for a Service Coordinator to support our upfitting operations across one or both of our Minnesota locations. In this role, you'll manage the flow of information and communication between customers, sales representatives, and installation technicians — helping ensure every build stays on track from kick-off through delivery.
This is a role for someone who's organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where no two days look exactly the same. You don't need to have an upfitting background to succeed here, but you do need to be someone who takes ownership of the details.
What you'll do:
Coordinate scheduling and workflow for incoming upfitting jobs. Communicate job status updates to customers and sales representatives. Prepare and manage build documentation including work orders, parts requests, and delivery records. Assist with parts sourcing and vendor communication as needed. Support the sales team with quoting, follow-up, and administrative tasks. Identify and flag scheduling conflicts or delays before they become problems.
What we're looking for:
2+ years of experience in a coordination, dispatch, service writing, or administrative operations role. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Comfortable managing multiple open jobs simultaneously. Proficient with standard office software; experience with scheduling or job management tools is a plus. A customer-service mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
